  • Interesting provenance: This man’s suit belonged to deceased famed Grand Canyon oil painter, Jim Jones
  • Purchased from his estate
  • Made of hand-loomed (?), finely woven unbleached cotton with the tiniest cross-stitched designs
  • The back scarf is meticulously edged in a fine red wool which is edged in a multi colored cotton print
  • Outfit consists of man’s tunic, large bandana worn over the shoulder and draping down the back and loose wide pants, a head scarf
  • Embroidered designs depict shamans, birds, animals, geometric figures and symbols important in Huichol cosmology
  • Will fit a medium sized American woman or small man
  • Sash is not included with the outfit
